Jen Harvey Photography is a boutique photography studio based in Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in heartfelt family, newborn, maternity, and children's portrait photography, while also serving couples throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C. as an experienced wedding photographer with more than 15 years in business and over 400 weddings photographed. One of the greatest joys of my career has been watching my wedding couples grow into families. Many of the parents I photograph today first stood in front of my camera on their wedding day. Years later, I'm documenting baby bumps, tiny newborn fingers, first birthdays, and the beautiful, everyday moments that make up family life. It's an incredible privilege to continue telling their stories. My approach has always been centered around connection rather than perfection. I believe the most meaningful photographs aren't perfectly posed—they're the ones that capture your child's personality, the way your toddler reaches for your hand, the laughter that fills your home, and the quiet moments that become your favorite memories years later. My sessions are relaxed, child-led, and designed to help families simply enjoy being together. Whether we're celebrating a new baby, documenting a season with little ones, or gathering everyone together for an annual family session, my goal is to create timeless, honest images that reflect your family's unique story. Every session is guided with patience and care, allowing children the freedom to be themselves while creating artwork that will become part of your family's legacy. I also offer children's personality portraits through my in-home studio, Little Whimsy Portrait Co., where the focus is entirely on preserving who your child is in this moment—their expressions, confidence, curiosity, and the little details you'll never want to forget. No matter what chapter of life you're in, my hope is that your photographs become more than something you scroll past on your phone. I want them to become the images your children grow up seeing on your walls, the albums you pull out decades from now, and the tangible reminders of a life that was beautifully lived together.
