Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Timonium, a premier early education and child care center proudly serving families throughout Timonium, Lutherville, Cockeysville, Hunt Valley, and the surrounding Baltimore County communities.
Conveniently located in Padonia Village Shopping Center just off York Road and minutes from I-83, our center makes daily drop-off and pick-up simple for busy families commuting throughout the region. Lightbridge Academy is The Solution for Working Parents®, offering infant care, toddler programs, preschool, and pre-kindergarten for children from infancy through pre-K. Before- and after-school care and summer camp programs are coming soon, giving families even more flexible options as their children grow.
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of every stage, providing a safe, nurturing environment where each child can thrive. At the heart of our center is The Circle of Care, our unique philosophy that places children, parents, staff, and the community in a shared commitment to nurturing each child's growth. This approach means parents are partners in their child's early learning journey, and our dedicated teachers are supported, celebrated, and empowered to deliver exceptional care every day. Our proprietary Seeds of Learning™ curriculum combines early academics with social-emotional development, character building, and creative exploration. Through hands-on activities, music, movement, early STEAM concepts, and language enrichment, children develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Each classroom is led by passionate, credentialed early childhood educators who tailor experiences to the individual needs of every child. Safety and peace of mind are central to everything we do. Our state-of-the-art facility features secure keypad entry, daily health and wellness checks, rigorous cleaning protocols, and our exclusive ParentView® Internet Monitoring System, which allows parents to securely check in on their child's classroom anytime from a computer or mobile device. Our staff are trained in CPR, first aid, and the latest early childhood safety practices. Inside, families will find bright, modern classrooms designed to inspire exploration, a dedicated infant suite with a calm and homelike feel, age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds, and purposeful enrichment areas. Every space has been thoughtfully created to encourage discovery, independence, and meaningful friendships.
We understand the demands of working families, which is why we offer full-time and part-time scheduling options, healthy meals and snacks, and a warm, welcoming environment from the moment you walk through our doors.
